At this point I am fairly certain that one ancestor family of mine will have outstanding research records as they are told to be a noble family named Géczy. In general it is easier to find information on noble families and the data usually goes back way before the general public records.

(All of these posts are in Hungarian though. )
After skimming through the posts I posted my own introduction and request for help.
My main problem is that my grandfather and greatgrandfather are long gone by now and I am not certain I can gain any information from aunts or other relatives.
A little summary I do know about my father's family:
My grandfather was Tibor Géczy who lived in Dunakeszi, Pest county most of his life. As he died in 1978 I didnt had the chance to know him.
I know my chance is really slim to find a distant relative on such forum but I cant give up the hope totally...
As I was reading the posts I had to discover the Géczy family has many branches and some of them are differentiated by which city or county they lived in. Felsőgéczi and Garamszeghi are one of the main branches. All of these different branches cannot make their descendants jobs easier as by now only few of us know which branch our family might have come from.
Nevertheless I decided one of my goal will be to collect all possible data and share it with whoever is interested in it. I was actually pretty surprised that despite such a widely branched family I couldnt find a family website as of yet. ( I would love to find one for sure. )
